Project Urban Designer

Job Duties:  Prepare streetscape and other urban concept design plans, and construction documents using AutoCAD and MicroStation and create 2D and 3D renderings and models using SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and hand drawing; Collaborate with teams to coordinate project workflows and design of public spaces utilizing ProjectWise collaboration software; Prepare land use, site, and streetscape design policies and project proposals, and lead community engagement initiatives to solicit public input; Synthesize complex data from multiple sources and create analysis and visual representations of population growth, demographic shifts, and urbanization patterns using ArcGIS, Geodesic Viewshed Spatial Analyst tool, and Adobe Illustrator; and Design and produce community engagement materials, including presentation boards for workshops, informational fact sheets, and direct mailers, using Adobe InDesign.

Requirements:  Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline and two years of experience as a Project Urban Designer, Project Manager, City Planning Consultant, Urban Designer, Architectural Designer or a related occupation. The required experience must include two years of experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Geodesic Viewshed, ProjectWise, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator. 

Salary:              $94,000.00/Year to $95,000.00/Year
