Dewi Bleher is a project urban designer with experience in urban design, multi-family architecture, commercial development, and Universal Design. She has collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams providing services to leading technology firms and public entities. Her education and professional development emphasize green cities, urban infrastructure, site- and construction development, along with design guidelines. She worked as a designer in the US and Germany, with work ranging from schematic design to construction administration.

Pulling from her variety of work as a lecturer and designer, Dewi believes that sustainable and human-scale urban spaces are critical to create equitable environments for all communities. The positive impact of thoughtful design will not only improve economical activity but can have immense improvements on public health and social resilience.

Always eager to try new things, Dewi began surfing in California. With her love of cities, she enjoys watching the urban streetscape from the waterfront. If she’s not in the water, she enjoys books, art and museum visits.
